Since 2017, we have been actively working in Toboi Village, where we established a base to serve the community.

Under the leadership of Ayanda and Nolita, our team is dedicated to:

 Mentoring and training local leaders to drive sustainable change

 Providing upliftment programs, addressing education, skills development, and general community needs

 Offering support to vulnerable families, ensuring they have access to basic necessities and opportunities

Our heart is to see lasting transformation in Toboi Village and beyond, by empowering communities from within and fostering self-sufficiency and hope.

We are currently planning the following projects: 

1. Grocery Store

Since 2016, Litho has been a vital part of our project, serving as both a community leader and a dedicated caretaker of our base. For more than 15 years, she has successfully run a family business in Thoboyi village, building trust and providing for her community.

Now, Litho is ready to take the next step.

She plans to transform her existing business into a small grocery store that will also serve as a safe, welcoming space for young people to spend time after school. In Thoboyi and the surrounding villages, there are currently no spaces like this. For many families, even accessing basic goods requires traveling to the nearest town – at a cost of around R80 for a one-way trip.

This new space would make everyday essentials more accessible while creating a positive, alcohol-free environment where youth and families can gather, connect, and feel safe.

By supporting Litho’s vision, we are investing in more than a business – we are helping build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community.

• Display fridge

• Deep freezer

• Beverage cooler/juice dispenser

• Deli meat slicer

• Plastic chairs and tables

2. Base Maintenance

We are currently seeking support with the following essential items:

• • Petrol weed eater (for maintaining the surrounding grounds)
  • Electric drill (for construction and repairs)
  • Exterior paint (to improve and protect the building)
  • Cement and doors (for structural improvements and security)
